Hi, helloooo!
I'm Amanda - a thirty something year old, small town girl, born and raised in southeast Michigan. After graduating high school I attended cosmetology school in Perrysburg, OH. I really enjoyed being a hairstylist and making magic behind the chair, but when I had children of my own I discovered that my true passion was being behind the camera. And so, what started as a "just for fun hobby" in 2011 quickly turned into something much more, and here I am today with a steady business and a great clientele. I am 100% self taught. I've learned so much along the way, and am constantly learning new things to this day. I absolutely love everything about photography. But capturing those real and raw emotions is, hands down, my favorite thing to do. There's just something so special about telling your story through photographs, photographs that will be looked back on by generations to come. My passion includes lifestyle, children, family, maternity, newborn, engagement, and senior sessions. I also enjoy photographing weddings, concerts, and events. I mostly serve SE Michigan and NW Ohio but will always so yes to further travel!
Most importantly, I'm a mama to three pretty cool kids- Gabbi, Gannon, and Grayson, as well as a dog mama to Goose. They are my purpose and driving force. When I'm not working, I can usually be found sitting in the stands, a gymnasium, or ball fields, watching them do what they love!
I also love all things summer, sunsets, traveling, road trips, country concerts, Detroit Lions football, the south + out west, pizza, going to the gym, dogs, and most people in general. I have a huge heart but can also cuss like a sailor. I'm a simple girl who likes nice things, with a mild shopping addiction. I'm a pretty fearless thrill seeker and I'll typically try anything at least once. Skydiving, hiking to the top of Angels Landing in Utah, and the peaks of Olomana in Hawaii rank pretty high on my list of cool experiences.
